Underage Drinking Tipline

Concerned adults, teachers, students and friends have a place to call 24 hours a day to report underage drinking parties or other activities that are harmful to the health, safety, and/or welfare of young people.                                                                                                     

  • The Underage Drinking Tipline number reaches the 8 counties of Western New York.
  • What happens when you make a call?  The call center will notify the Sheriff's Department.  If the party location is in the jurisdiction of another police agency the information will be promptly routed to the appropriate agency who will respond. 

52% of New York State student’s reported that their parents had never talked to them about the dangers of underage drinking. The tipline is anonymous, confidential and free. By providing basic information a difference can be made, tragedy diverted and lives saved.
